Department Brief :
The Corporate Training
Team looks after the training needs of FactSet India. The team is
responsible for creating and delivering programs which constantly
enhances the abilities of the employees. The Corporate Training Team
works on developing and deploying e-learning modules and classroom
training sessions based on the Training Need Identification. They also
work on organizing off-site learning activities, outsourcing specialized
trainings and organizing new employee induction program.
Job Responsibilities :
· Analyze the training needs of the managers using surveys and interviews
· Design
and develop functional and skill based training modules which enhances
the management ability/skills of the middle and senior management
· Conduct effective classroom training sessions for the management groups (TLs and above)
· Be a resource for the team on advanced usage of PowerPoint and Excel.
· Design and develop management training curriculum
· Coordinate with e-learning specialist to develop web based training program for managers
· Conceptualize and develop newer methods of training
· Evaluate performance of programs and instructors and provide recommendations for improvement
· Mentor and develop junior trainers in the team
Job Requirements :
· Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work -- Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
· Excellent communication skills
· Creativity to conceptualize and develop creative and interactive training sessions
· Technical Expertise: Advanced PowerPoint and Excel
· Sound knowledge of Management Concepts
· Minimum 4-5-6 years of experience as a Management Trainer
· Enthusiasm, a strong sense of initiative, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy
· Originality
- The ability to come up with unusual or creative ideas about a given
topic or situation, or to develop creative ways to solve a problem
Highly Desired:
· Excellent Public Speaking Skills
· Prior experience as a management trainer or a behavioral skills trainer with other corporates
· Have developed and conducted a range of management training sessions covering different management aspects as modules
· Commitment to the timely completion of tasks: meet the constraints of cost, time and the project in hand
