Department Brief :
FactSet Fundamentals Team collects financial statements of Public and Private (US only) companies across the continent. The team sources the company filings from various sources like stock exchanges, company websites, regulatory body & third party vendors. We extract & analyze the data from financial statement like Balance Sheet, Income Statement & Cash flow statement of the company. Also, the team collects the textual data like Business Activities, Officers, Shareholder, industry classification and etc.

Job Responsibilities :

  • To capture key company data after understanding and analyzing the financial reports/press releases/filings/web sites published by companies
  • To ensure that the creating/updating of specific company data adequately satisfies the client approved process
  • To ensure that the created/updated data quality is as per the norms specified for the account
  • To create/update as many companies as possible above the minimum expected number, as set by the supervisors
  • The role will require collating, maintaining and regularly updating the relevant databases with accurate information, in accordance with the work programs defined by the company
  • Responsible for updating the company within the specified time with the specified Quality norms of the account
  • The Research Analyst will be expected to write summaries on company products, & services
  • Responsible for correctly creating/updating a deal, by following the guidelines of the process
  • Responsible to check official updates regarding the process sent electronically or stated verbally
  • Responsible for updating deals within the specified timelines
  • The Research Analyst will be expected to identify and correct grammatical errors
  • Responsible to follow all rules related to work procedures and to seek information if he/she is unclear on any of the work procedures
  • Inform the supervisor about issues, which are constantly being escalated for inadequate support and/ or content information
  • The job also involves reporting & maintenance of record of work done

Job Requirements :

  • Good command over the English language  - both written and oral
  • Typing Skills with a minimum of 20 WPM
  • Excellent research and Analytical Skills
  • Knowledge of MS office especially excel
  • Excellent English comprehension and writing skills
  • Willingness to work in shifts
  • Thorough knowledge M S Office – Excel, PowerPoint & Word

Job Requirements :
  • B-Com/MBA (Fin) with minimum 60% scores
  • Computer literate
