Roles and responsibilities
• Develop and maintain test plans, test scenarios and execute test plans.
• Define and track quality assurance metrics. Use in-house bug tracking tool for defect tracking.
• Identify scope for test automation and create automation scripts for the same. Appropriate test tools need to be identified and used for automated testing.
• Act as the prime contact for receiving and analyzing the issues on the product reported from its users/field

Skill set
• Proficiency in any of the major QA test management & automated testing tools such as LoadRunner, Selenium, etc.
• Knowledge of writing SQL queries.
• Experience in testing web applications, e-commerce applications.
• Good analytical skills.
• Should be comfortable at learning new tools.
• Ability to understand and write code is a plus
• Self-driven and a team player
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
