Openings for the post of Senior Engineer (GIS) in HoneyWell Technologies in Hyderabad
Description
Develop / Update / Validate the Digital Elevation Models and Terrain DB project activities
Validation Void filling, Digitization using ArcGIS, ESRI tools
Requirements understanding and DEM/ Digitization validation and reviews
Unit testing and adherence to process standards in the team
Work with Configuration management system and tools
• Demonstrate an interest in / or have exposure to an Information Technology environment;
• Have a strong interest and passion to work with a multi-dimensional business and are energetic and ambitious

Essential Skills:
At least 4 - 8 years fo experience
At least a Bachelors degree in Computer Science
Work experience using ESRI tools - ArcGIS, ArcMap
Working knowledge of DEMs and new highresolution data access
Proficiency in requirements reviews and review processes
Must have performed Unit Testing adn validations
Configuration Management tools knowledge
Knowledge of VB scripting
Good customer communication
Preferred skills:
Domain Knowlegde (Avionics, Electronics)
Process Knowledge ( SEI / ISO / PSP / TSP processes)
Knowledge of Standards (DO-178B, ARINC 429, ARINC 629)
• Have flair to excel in delivery commitments
