JD : Oracle RAC internals.
- Oracle RAC installation, configuration ,patch application, monitoring win, Linux, AIX
- Responsible for supporting the Oracle databases and ensuring their performance, availability and security in 24 X 7 environment.
- Proactive monitoring of database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
- Providing trend analysis to the service management team to enable them to make informed decisions regarding resource management.
- Problem escalation to Oracle Development team and third parties as appropriate.
- Responsible for implementation and release of database changes as required by client.
- Performance and tuning.
- Standby and data guard configuration and monitoring.
- Migration and upgradation.
- Export-Import, Data pump, Rman, Backup and recovery.
- User Management.
