Job Description
*Hiring for Bangalore & Hyderabad*The Mobility Solutions Group at TCS is working on Solutions and Enterprise Mobility programs across various Industry verticals and we're looking for experienced folks with some prior experience in Mobility. Need 2+ years of experience in Mobility across Development (Products & Services) Hands-on experience in Android, iOS, Blackberry or WP7 required for Development roles.
Openings exist at Sr. Developer/Lead/Architect/PM levels with experience of 2 to 12 years. Also considering engineers and leads with test automation and experience in mobile application testing.
All things being equal, preference may be given to those who are available to join at short notice and are the closest fit to our requirements. Please state location preference in the subject

Desired Skills & Experience
Candidates must be proficient in some or a combo of the skills listed below, based on the platform of interest.- Excellent development experience in C, C++, Objective C 2.0
- Hands-on experience in COCOA Framework, XCode 3.1, Interface Builder, iPhone SDK 3.0 and above.
- Experience using Mac development environment.
- Client-Server architecture understanding.
- Excellent communication & inter-personal skills.
- An eye for great design and user experiences.
- Hard-working and a fast learner.
- Strong OOPs fundamentals, Java , XML, Android 1.5 and above, Client-Server architecture understanding.
- Sound knowledge of overall Android architecture.
- Should have worked on application development using JDE/NetBeans/Eclipse/ MDS Studio
- Good understanding of OOP (Object Oriented Programming) and design principles
- Strong understanding of memory management, files I/O, network protocols, socket programming, concurrency, multi-threading etc.
- Should have worked on client-server application involving web service calling.
- Should be aware of BlackBerry and J2ME architecture
- Should be aware of code signing processes.
- Excellent communication & inter-personal skills.
- Experience in Start-up, and/or in Product Development would be strongly considered.
- Core Java knowledge and Java certification will be added advantage.
Experience on other mobile platforms/technologies (such as Android, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile) would be an added advantage.
