Senior Software Development Engineer– Webstore, Hyderabad, IndiaThis Position is based in Hyderabad.

The Web store India team is looking for innovative, results-oriented Software Development Engineer to help architect high volume transactional system that will be used by every major brands in the world as their e-commerce platform. As a key member, you will get the opportunity to own major deliverables of this project and in all aspects of the development cycle: scoping, design, implementation, testing. This project,like many others at Amazon, depends on other team's services, so you will be an active contributor in this extended team in the effort of flushing out cross-team requirements/designs. You will get a chance to exercise your judgment in determining/recommending the best designs based on business objective, time line and resource constraints.
Qualification:
- A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals (based on a BS or MS in CS or related field)
- 5+ years of experience in building production software
- Deftness at object-oriented design and systems architecture
- Mastery of the tools of the trade, including a variety of modern programming languages (Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Objective C), open-source technologies (Spring, Hibernate) and platforms (Windows, Macintosh, Windows Mobile).
- Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts
